THE COPING SKILLS WORKBOOK!

**A coping skill is a technique or activity that helps calm people down.

What It Is:

The Coping Skills Workbook is a book that teaches what coping skills they can use when they are upset, and reminds them of their coping skills in the moment.

What you nee

  • A Word document application that you can print from

  • Digital pictures to add to your workbook

  • A printer

  • Printer Paper

How To Make It:

  1. Open up new, blank document

  2. Pick a font, font size, and color for your title, and write, "Coping Skills Workbook"

  3. Pick a font, font size, and color, and write "name" and make a line for their name

  4. Write (1 to a page) the name of the coping skill, and add pictures

  5. *OPTIONAL* Make a page where your child will write down a new coping skill, and make a picture for it
